A striking Val St Lambert prune cut-to-clear crystal vase designed by Joseph Simon, model Formose. Originally created for the 1935 Brussels Universal Exhibition and later featured in the 1938 Val St Lambert catalogue, this elegant piece showcases the refined craftsmanship and bold geometric cutting synonymous with the period. Substantial in weight at just over 2.6kg, it is a beautifully executed example of classic Belgian crystal design.
