  1. Where are your showrooms?
    A. In my villa at 21 Ariki Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland. Also, if you refer to the retail page of this website you will see the  WORLD store locations listed. This is a collaboration that I have with Francis Hooper and Benny Castles of WORLD where I supply these stores exclusively with my Antiques.
  2. Do you operate within retail hours?
    A. Yes although I am open by appointment only (Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm. Saturdays 10.00 to 2.00pm). I am closed on Sundays.
  3. Why are you open by appointment only?
    A. As I operate on a residential street, I am obliged by council regulations to open by appointment only. However the advantage of this is that I can give personalised attention to each client.
  4. Are you open to the public?
    A. Yes I am . I also work with interior designers but basically anyone who is interested like I am in European antique, mid century and original industrial furniture and decoratives.
  5. If I make an appointment, am I obliged to buy something?
    A. Absolutely not. I operate effectively like a retail business, it is just that I see customers one by one or several if you are all together.
  6. Is parking available?
    A. If there is no parking on the street, you can park over my driveway (outside the double gates).
  7. Is it OK to just turn up without an appointment?
    A. Generally no, as on occasion I may be out visiting a client, delivering stock  or purchases etc and you may be disappointed to find no one answers the door.
  8. Do you offer layby?
    A. Yes I do. I offer a 2 month lay-by period. The initial deposit is 30% of the value of the item to be purchased.
  9. How can I pay?
    A. By Cash, Bank Transfer, EFTPOS, or Credit card (Mastercard or Visa).A 2.2% transaction fee is charged for credit card payments made in store.
  10. How can I find out in advance when a new shipment is due to arrive?
    A. Simply fill in the contact form on the website and you will be added to my customer base so that you can be kept informed of news and new shipments.
  11. Do you deal in reproduction furniture?
    A. No I don’t. All my pieces are antique or mid century pieces.
  12. How many shipments do you bring in a year?
    A. Generally two every six months or so.
  13. If I am looking for a specific item of furniture can you source this item for me?
    A. Yes, I do source for clients. All you need to do is to be specific about what are you looking for (photos always welcome) and let me know and I will do my best to find it for you.
