A stunning brass and chrome drinks trolley by Italian designer Romeo Rega c.1970. This three tiered mid-century/modern bar cart on castors features thick smoked glass and a Brass handle on either side. In good condition with some tarnish commensurate with age. The Castors have been replaced at some point. There are also a couple of small shell chips on the underside of the glass, not structural issues.
Italian designer Romeo Rega (B.1904) was known for his combination of modernism and glamour in mainly entertainment focused pieces such as coffee/side tables, etageres, trolleys and decorative lamps. His designs are almost always made using blingy materials, meaning plenty of brass, chrome and gilding. Hollywood Regency at its finest.
