Make a statement with this highly theatrical and rare sculptural table lamp by Italian designer Lanciotto Galeotti (b.1945), produced by L’Originale near Florence in the 1970s. This Hollywood Regency statement piece features a dramatic composition of three silvered herons or flying geese rising among bullrushes in flight at dawn or dusk. Crafted in a luxurious mix of gilt and silvered bronze and brass, the heron sculpture is mounted on a rectangular black marble base. The stylised moon-shaped silken shade has been re made following the lines of the original. The lamp has been re wired to NZ standards.
