This trunk is a really good model of its kind and would have provided complete storage for the belongings of its owner. It’s an early trunk in excellent order and the quality rivets that hold down the strapping are a sign of its age. The later models from 1890- 1920 have pins to do this job. Makes a wonderful coffee table.
