A pair of original French Empire matching chairs c.1810. They have been recently re covered in a high quality linen. The chair frames were re painted around 1900 and have acquired a lovely patina. A great sign of quality is the fact that they are number stamped underneath which indicates a country house inventory number, meaning it came out of a very good country house. They would be a great addition to a bedroom.
