Oil on panel ‘Bouquet of yellow Ranunculus’ signed F. Guillermin
Bruno Francisque Guillermin (1878-1947) was a French painter and decorator whom first worked in Valencia and then for eight years in Lyon. He painted landscapes, portraits and flowers. One of his most notable works is the popular ‘Brasserie Georges’ in Lyon, entirely redesigned in the art deco style by Guillermin in 1924.He was an associate member of the National Society of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1937, he received the Prix de la Société Lyonnaise des Beaux-Arts.
