A vintage Murano mouth-blown glass dish or ashtray of five-point star form, made using the controlled bubble (bullicante) technique. The heavy red glass body is decorated with gold leaf and encased in clear glass, with a layer of evenly spaced bubbles suspended between the red core and the outer casing.
