Mid-century hotel plate champagne chiller with inserts for champagne flutes.
Hotel plate is made for use in hotels, trains and restaurants where they would be used on a daily basis. Hotel Silver plate was made using a stronger base metal than that of normal silver plate, meaning it would be less likely to take show dings and ware.
The underside of this piece shows an illegible makers mark and the remains of a sticker now gone but probably the name of the hotel or restaurant it was once used in.
