An impressive large Hollywood Regency gilt-metal Egyptian Pharaoh (mask of Tutankhamun) table lamp attributed to Maison Jansen, circa 1970 for Deknudt in Belgium. It has been paired with a new bespoke black silk shade with gold card interior. It has been re wired to NZ standards. Maison Jansen was a Parisian interior design firm founded in 1880 by Jean-Henri Jansen, and is considered the first global design company. It became known for blending traditional styles with contemporary trends, serving a wealthy and royal clientele across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The firm closed in 1989, but its legacy continues today through its sought-after vintage designs.
