English astral glazed secretary breakfront bookcase

A substantial English mahogany breakfront library secretaire bookcase with four astral glazed doors over four panelled doors. It has a dentil and moulded breakfront cornice with Sheraton style stringing and medallion and basket inlay. The lower section has a secretaire drawer converting to a writing desk with green gilt tooled leather writing surface, cubby holes and two faux book end secret storage compartments. It has fully adjustable shelves and working locks for all doors. The bookcase is raised on bracket feet. c.1920 – 1940.
