This exceptional Pique-Fleurs (rose bowl) was designed by Hubert Fouarge around 1908 for Val Saint Lambert, the renowned Belgian crystal manufacturer established in 1826 and celebrated for its hand-blown and hand-cut crystal masterpieces. Listed in Val Saint Lambert’s 1908 catalogue under “Vases taillés,” as Vase No. 46, the “Lübeck” model showcases the brand’s signature craftsmanship with its striking amethyst cut-to-clear crystal design. Intended for flower arrangements, the vase retains its original fitted metal grille (frog), which elegantly supports and separates the stems for a balanced display. Weighing approximately 1.8 kilograms, these rose bowls are highly sought after by collectors.
