I found this amazing antique button hook collection c.1940 – 1880 in the office of one of my French dealers. He was going to keep it but I convinced him to pass it on to me. One of his clients, an avid Belgian collector, had spent five years putting the collection together from all round Europe. The collection includes mother of pearl, ivory, silver, and tortoise shell handles. The display cabinet was then custom made to mount and display the collection.
