An antique French hanging opticians shop sign in very good condition c.1900 – 1920. Double sided zinc and metal hand painted eyes hanging from an ornate hand forged metal bracket.These are difficult to find as they are quite rare and this is a goody!.
I have included a photo from the book THE WAY WE LIVE IN THE COUNTRY by Thames & Hudson, Pg 169. You can see how effective the sign is as a decorative accent and mine has the added bonus of the original hanging bracket!
