A substantial elegant and beautifully proportioned late 19th century
French six branch chandelier the gold coloured bronze frame of which is decorated in a light rococo style. Additional photos to be added.
A further three lights are suspended in a second tier above the lighting branches from the frame making a total of nine lights.
The canopy of the piece is surmounted with a metal crown holding crystal “tear drops” topped with “starbursts” and swags of hand cut European crystal chains which drop to each of the lighting branches and between.
The lighting branches are decorated with a top quality “cutback Albert drops”
The base finial of the piece is finished with a large engraved “tear drop”.
Price includes re wiring to NZ standards.
