"Fernando VII reigned when he was in boga the empire style. It was then bronze gilded was dominated, at its best, as a decorative technique.⁠

As told by @patrimnacional, inventories during the first three decades of the 19th century hundreds of orders were made to Parisian manufacturers ⁠

Most palaces were seeking renovation after the riots that occurred during the reign of Joseph I. The merchant Rafael Garreta, through his Carrera de San Jerónimo store, was one of the most prolific suppliers. In 1827 he was commissioned the sumptuous lamp of the King's Chamber where we are now.⁠

Today we can admire at the Royal Palace (and in the rest of the Real Sites) the fan of Fernando VII for the bronze. In each corner of a large number of rooms you will find consoles or pedestals accompanied by neoclassical and empire style chandeliers, clocks and sculptural groups in mercury gilded bronze and large size". Grotto, staircase, and domed hall form a harmonious unit that is truly one of a kind.⁠

Starting in 1728, Balthasar Neumann took over the construction management and in 1731 transformed the original design into one of the most ingenious staircases of the Baroque period With a keen sense of space and proportion, he created an architectural icon that has made Bruchsal Palace famous far beyond the region" ⁠

"The C H I N E S E Kitchen at Tureholm Castle in S

"The C H I N E S E Kitchen at Tureholm Castle in Sweden is an 18th-century room created in the chinoiserie style, reflecting Europe’s fascination with East Asian art. Commissioned by Count Thure Gabriel Bielke and painted by Carl Fredrik Engelkrona between 1744 and 1746, it was never used for cooking. Instead, it showcased a large collection of blue-and-white porcelain. The room features painted motifs of pagodas, exotic birds, and Chinese figures, all set against faux-marble walls and a dramatic ceiling. Though the porcelain is gone, the richly decorated space remains a poetic tribute to the era’s decorative tastes" via @alidad_ltd⁠

"A 10 acre historic garden, at the centre of a picturesque Cotswold village, nestled amongst Capability Brown inspired Parkland. The Garden compromises vast formal lawns skirted by a series of rills and ponds which reflect the ancient plane trees that are dotted throughout the garden. The south side of the house has a formal terrace with mixed borders and yew hedging, overlooking a formal lawn with a reflection pool and yew topiary.
