A refined Directoire style tripod table c.1920, in beautifully figured cherrywood with a circular dark grey marble top softly veined in white. Elegant and understated, the design combines clean neoclassical lines with warm timber tones and a nicely balanced shape. The apron is veneered in richly grained cherrywood which has a lustrous grain and subtle satin sheen. The table stands on three slender, gently tapered legs joined by a shaped triangular stretcher, giving it both stability and a graceful sculptural look. The dark grey marble top contrasts beautifully with the warm cherrywood and adds a practical, durable surface. There are two very small chips to the table top. A versatile piece that works well as a side table, lamp table, or bedside table.
