A Mid-Century Murano glass table lamp, made in Italy c.1950s. The hand-blown base features a ribbed Cordonato D’ Oro design with hot-incorporated gold leaf inclusions, creating a rich gold amber to deep red glow. The sculptural form rises from a lobed, flower-shaped foot into a  tapered body with pronounced vertical ribbing, characteristic of the sought-after Cordonato Oro style associated with makers such as Barovier & Toso. The shade is in vintage condition commensurate with age and wear. The lamp has been re wired to NZ standards with the addition of an inline switch.
