This antique pair of wooden boot lasts were custom-made for J.G. North Esquire by G.W. Bunting Ltd., a prestigious bootmaker located at 31 Dover Street in London, with a branch also in Paris. Bunting Ltd. held a Royal Warrant (By Appointment to H.M. The King), a mark of exceptional craftsmanship. Commissioning bespoke wooden shoe trees of this quality would have been a significant expense at the time. Whether displayed in a boutique to add character and charm, or displayed in a walk-in wardrobe as a nod to a passion for historical fashion, these boot lasts are sure to attract attention. They are in good overall condition, and could be re used for your own boots. They have been paired with a pair of leather lace up brogue mens shoes in lieu of the boots.(Size 41).
