Mid century or earlier French patinated spelter sculpture of a hunting setter with pheasant in its mouth, on marble base. In the style of, reproduction of J.Moigniez.The artist, Jules Moigniez (1835-1894) was a French animalier (animal) sculptor who was active during the 19th century. He frequently exhibited his sculptures at the Paris Salon.
